Meet the Team

Anna Buduls

Anna Buduls AO

Company Owner and Chairperson

Anna’s early professional experience was in financial journalism, investment banking and investor relations. She has been a professional non-executive director since 1995 on a broad range of public, government (including the Foreign Investment Review Board) and private company boards. She is currently chairman of the not-for-profit group, Beyond Empathy.

In addition to Anna’s board work, she has also undertaken a wide range of Government advisory work. In 2013 Anna undertook a review of the Centrepay system on behalf of the Minister for Human Services. Previously, she was a Steering Group Member on the Federal Government’s White Paper on Homelessness (2008) and was a Review panel member Federal Government Jobseeker Compliance Penalty Regime (2010). She served as one of three Australian APEC Business Advisory Council members (2012-2014), appointed by the Prime Minister. Anna also actively engages in developing and philanthropically funding outreach programs and associated research for the homeless and for disadvantaged citizens.

In January 2018 Anna was awarded Officer (AO) in the General Division of the Order of Australia for her “Distinguished service to the business and finance sectors through her advisory roles, and, as a supporter of, and advocate for, policy development to reduce homelessness, and to the welfare and charity sectors.”

Jo OBrien

Chief Executive Officer

Jo has more than 25 years of experience across almost every aspect of the Australian travel industry. Prior to joining Tramada, she was General Manager Australia for ZUJI, a joint venture between Travelocity, Qantas and other regional airlines. Jo has also managed one of Australia’s largest travel groups, Jetset, with responsibility for a network of over 500 agents. Complementing these strong leadership skills, Jo brings significant technology experience to Tramada, having conceived and led Jetset’s integrated internet strategy, and managed its IT department with a complex data network.

Björn Böhme

Björn Böhme

Global Director Product and Engineering

Björn has more than 20 years in the IT industry. Prior to joining Tramada, he was the Technical Director at IBX Group (now Tradeshift), one of the largest and most successful Procure-to-Pay solution providers globally. He had overall responsibility for developing and rolling out their technical platform, as well as ensuring agreed service levels were met. Bjorn has worked as a senior technical and business consultant for a number of global blue-chip enterprises including Lufthansa, Ericsson and Bang & Olufsen. He holds a Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University in Sweden.

Susan Emmers

Susan Enners

Country Manager Australia and New Zealand

Susan has over 15 years in the Travel and Finance industry in Australia. Before joining Tramada in 2017, Susan was Director, Supplier Relations at BCD Travel, and prior to that, led the Travel Agency Partnerships team at American Express Corporate Card. Her experience lies in growing new and existing business, leadership, marketing and product implementation. Susan has an excellent reputation within her extensive network in the Travel industry, having worked in partnership with the major TMCs in Australia/New Zealand, this positions her perfectly to lead Tramada’s Australian and New Zealand business.

Michael Jacques

Country Manager, USA

Michael Jacques is a travel technology industry veteran with 30+ years of experience. He is a former travel agency owner and over the past 20 years has served in senior management business development roles with the former i:FAO/cytric,  e -travel/Amadeus, Farelogix, Tripware, Databasics and Lumo, and brings his passion for innovative solutions to advance corporate travel. Michael Jacques has an extensive network of contacts and is active within the industry. He is co-Chair of GBTA’s technology committee, shaping several initiatives, delivering research and education programs for global members.

Brenton Fear

Brenton Fear

Head of Operations

Brenton has more than 20 years experience in travel and related industries. He has been with Tramada since 2001 and has worked in a variety of roles. He is ideally placed to lead the Operations Team which includes Implementations, Online Learning, Support Centre and the Business Intelligence Consulting teams. Prior to joining Tramada, he held various positions including Travel Authorisation for delegates of the United Nations in Geneva and has specialised in Workplace Training and Assessment with Carlson Wagonlit and Sabre. Brenton has delivered initiatives in the areas of self-paced learning, support best practice including the 360° tramada® connect support ensuring customers, process and technology are aligned to deliver outstanding customer care.

Izzy Pinto

Christian Stevens

Chief Financial Officer

Christian brings a wealth of Finance experience to Tramada having spent the last 20 years working across a diverse range of industries including Software, Telecommunications, Public Practice and Energy in a variety of Senior Finance roles throughout the world.

Prior to joining Tramada, Christian headed up the Finance & Business Performance function for Origin Energy’s International business interests including a portfolio of renewable energy development projects in Chile, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Previously he was Group Planning Manager at Misys Plc, a global leader in Banking software based in London U.K., where he oversaw Misys’s planning processes and was a key figure in a number of strategic projects across the Group. Qantas was a major client of Christian’s during his time with KPMG.

Christian is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Technology, Sydney.
