Tramada Systems appoints Alan McCartney as Head of Sales and Account Management
Veteran industry salesperson joins from Amadeus global sales role
Sydney, Australia – 11 July 2019 – Alan McCartney has been appointed Head of Sales and Account Management at travel data management solution provider Tramada Systems.
Reporting to Tramada’s Country Manager, Australia and New Zealand, Susan Enners, McCartney is based in Sydney and heads up a team responsible for clients and prospects across Australia and New Zealand.
“Alan’s experience and knowledge in the travel and technology industries brings significant expertise and opportunity to our dynamic team,” Enners said.
McCartney added, “I am very excited to be joining the Tramada team. Rapid changes in the travel industry are providing significant opportunities for Tramada technology to drive revenue growth and productivity in travel agencies.”
McCartney previously served as Global Accounts Manager and Sales Manager at Amadeus IT Pacific where he was responsible for the organisation’s global and new business acquisitions for Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands. Prior to that, he held senior sales roles at BCD Travel, CT Connections, American Express Global Business Travel, and Tata Communications.
In his spare time, McCartney is a volunteer at NSW Rural Fire Service where he has served in several roles including community engagement officer, media liaison officer, and training officer.
